Instagram Download Tips for Better Results
A few simple checks can make it easier to download supported public Instagram videos, Reels and photos successfully.
1. Start with a public Instagram URL
InstaFetch is designed for supported public Instagram content. Private, restricted, deleted or otherwise unavailable posts may not produce downloadable results.
2. Copy the complete link
When copying a link from Instagram, make sure you copied the actual post or Reel URL rather than text from a caption or profile page.
3. Try the original post URL
If a shared or shortened link does not work, open the public post in Instagram and copy its link again. A fresh URL can help avoid issues caused by an incomplete or outdated link.
4. Check whether the content is still available
A post can be deleted, made private, restricted, or otherwise changed after you copied its URL. If Instagram itself cannot publicly display the content, InstaFetch may not be able to retrieve downloadable media either.
5. Use a modern mobile or desktop browser
InstaFetch is designed to work in a web browser, so there is no separate downloader application to install. A current version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or another modern browser is recommended.
6. Give the request a moment
Download processing can take longer when a media request requires additional processing. Avoid repeatedly submitting the same URL while the first request is still running.
What if the download still does not work?
First confirm that the Instagram URL is public and still accessible. If it is, try copying the link again and submitting it from a fresh browser tab.
If the URL remains unsupported, the issue may be related to the content type or a change on Instagram's side rather than your browser.
Respect creator rights
Downloaded media may be protected by copyright or other rights. Before reposting or using someone else's content commercially, make sure you have permission or another lawful basis to use it.
